Meet the Utz family!  One of my beautiful membership families.  If you know this family then you know just how fun they are!  So you know we had a fun-filled family photography session.  What is most extraordinary about this family, though, is undeniably the love they all have for each other! Rindy and Mike have been married for 7 years and since saying "I do" they've welcomed 2 little one(s) into their beautiful family. And what an adorable crew they make! Their kiddos are so precious! I mean just look at big sister's dress.  at everyone one of our sessions she is dressed just absolutely adorable in mostly (if not all) handmade dresses from small boutiques.  

While it's natural to worry about kiddos struggling to sit still during a session, I always tell parents to just go with the flow and have fun!  And it always works out!  And I love that this family takes that to heart.  As you can see from even just a quick glance through their photos, genuine connection, love, and joy are the qualities that turn beautiful family photos into the kind that take your breath away! Those sincere moments of connection are the ones families will treasure for decades.

But when I'm planning every Minneapolis family photography session, my number one goal is to bring out the unique personality of the family in front of my lens! I noticed right away that the Utz family, especially mom, are especially bubbly and easy going so I made it my mission to capture that in photos! With lots of hugs and playing with each other I was able to highlight what makes them so special!

It's also so important to me that family photos this delightful don't just hide away on your computer hard drive forever. I encourage all my clients to invest in displays for their images, whether that be through an heirloom album to pass around on holidays or a gallery wall full of prints. I had such a blast telling the Utz's family story with my camera during our Lake Nokomis family photography session, and I hope to hang out with them again soon! And because they are a membership family I do!
