Celebrating birthday's is one of my favorite things to do.  And celebrating 1st birthday's in my Minneapolis studio is even better!  I had the cutest little guy (who I photographed in the NICU) turn one and we celebrated with a little cake.  First birthday cake smash sessions are a blast!  (and you don't have to clean up the mess!) Twin siblings were there too so we made sure to capture some updated portraits and of course get mom in the frame as well.  I was sad to learn that they were moving to California because they have been one of my favorite clients photographing them over the years since we met at a social club gathering in our city.  I used to live in California myself so I can't say I blame them.  They chose a good winter to leave Minnesota!
