This session at Lake Ann in Chanhassen was so fun.  Of course the foliage was beautiful and the perfect location for a family photo session in the fall but right before our session mom called to tell me the news that she just found out she was pregnant and wanted to surprise her hubby at the session.  We had to do it right at the beginning of the session because the surprise was killing us!  We were pretty sneaky and managed to surprise him pretty good.  It was so exciting!  Soon to be big brother didn't really know what was going on but he played the part perfectly and by the end of the session I almost think that maybe he started to understand. I love shooting family sessions but they are super fun when you get to do something special.  I'm pretty sure they will never forget this family photo session at Lake Ann.  As you look through some of my favorites here be sure to look at soon to be big brother's face and some of his special touches that weren't even prompted towards the end.  So special.  With the first picture below, hubby had no idea what the sign said.  We told him it just said something about family.  hehehehe
