Minneapolis NICU Sessions are my favorite way of giving back. With Covid protocols these sessions are a little less frequent than they have been in the pass but I have been able to photograph some beautiful babies still. And not long ago I was able to photograph these triplets who were born at 29 weeks. A little update on these NICU babies - they are all home and thriving and have recently turned 5 months!
I love giving back and providing these free photo sessions for families living in the NICU has been a joy. I have been photographing in the NICU for over 5 years. I have NICU families that I've still been photographing and watching these babies go off to kindergarten is just so humbling and I'm honored to continue to be a part of the family's lives. To request a session please apply directly by submitting a form here. NICU sessions are held in Minneapolis and surrounding twin cities hospitals. You can also get a glimpse of all the NICU photo session galleries on the submission site.
Let's get to sharing these beautiful triplets and their NICU photo session at Masonic Children's Hospital, M Health Fairview
Are you having a baby and you are blessed to not be in the NICU? As a newborn photographer in Minneapolis not only do I give my services to NICU sessions but I also photograph Fresh 48 Newborn Sessions as well as in home and studio newborn photography. Lifestyle is my passion and if you'd like to see more of my newborn photography please visit these pages on my website: FRESH 48 | IN HOME | STUDIO
Fresh 48 sessions are the sweetest newborn sessions. Hospital's don't always provide a photographer anymore to capture those first hours of your baby's life. I started offering these beautiful sessions when I started photographing in the NICU and found that many parents hadn't received the option during their hospital stay. These fresh 48 sessions are perfect add-ons if you still want that in-home or studio session. But they are also perfect stand alone sessions because as the years come and go and your baby grows, you'll find yourself sharing the images from the hospital along with their recent picture so let's make sure the images you share are of the highest quality because you won't want to forget this time (and you will because you'll be so tired). These lifestyle sessions are stress free, no need to be primped in order to be in front of the camera. Throw on some mascara and you are good to go. These are casual sessions that you'll want to remember and share years from now.
Michele is a Fresh 48 photographer for the Minneapolis, St. Paul and surrounding area hospitals. Because of the time sensitivity of these session, schedule your Fresh 48 session in advance. These sessions can be added on to a studio or in-home lifestyle session or scheduled on their own. Fresh 48 Sessions are Michele's specialty and her favorite thing to do!

Ali - I absolutely LOVE this Michelle! I had a preemie in the NICU and we were separated for over a day after she was born. I couldn't take photos of her then anyway, I was too emotionally and physically drained. I wish there had been something like this at the Hospital we were in! Such a great idea! This also inspires me to see if I can do this for families near me. Thank you so much for sharing!!
