Many seniors know they should have their senior photo session the summer before their senior year.  Often times this gets put off until the fall of their senior year. Or in the case of these crazy twin students the summer before they headed off to college!  You're never too late well that's not true don't wait until your in college.  At the very latest get them done before you head off. 

I wanted to mention several reasons why it's better to do them in the summer. For one thing, you'll have more time to schedule your session without having to worry about homework, extracurricular activities, and college applications. And secondly, the weather is usually more cooperative in the summer months. Here are some other reasons to schedule your senior photo session over the summer.

• You can take advantage of longer days by scheduling your session for early evening when the light is soft and beautiful.

If you're on the fence about whether or not to do a senior photo session, hopefully this has given you some food for thought. While there are certainly benefits to doing a session in the fall, there are even more benefits to doing it in the summertime. So go ahead and mark it in your calendar - your senior photo session awaits!
