Session Preparation: After you book, I’ll send you the creative fee invoice, agreement, and all the planning guides you need to start preparing for your session in the fall. If you want to set up a consultation we can do that as well.
Photo Session: On the day of your session, relax and enjoy as I capture your family’s love and connection in the beautiful fall setting.
Gallery Delivery: Within 2-3 weeks, you’ll receive a beautifully curated gallery of images in a slideshow. You’ll have 24 hours to purchase a collection after viewing the slideshow. Once you've purchased a collection, you’ll have 30 days to choose your final images and spend your complimentary print credit on stunning prints, albums, or wall art.

Where will the session take place?: Your family portrait session can happen just about anywhere you choose! As long as it’s within an hour of the Twin Cities, we’re good to go—if it’s further, a travel fee applies. Once you’re scheduled, I’ll send you a location guide packed with my favorite spots. We’ll work together to find the perfect backdrop for your family’s story. Let’s find that ideal location and create some magic!
What if I can't make our scheduled session after all?: Life can throw us curveballs, and if you can't make our scheduled session, we’ll try to reschedule! My calendar can fill up quickly, but I always keep some wiggle room for changes like weather. Flexibility is key. The creative fee is due upon scheduling and is non-refundable. If you need to cancel last minute, just let me know. With enough notice, you can apply your paid creative fee to a future session, but it must be rescheduled right away. I put a lot of work into the backend of sessions, so I appreciate your understanding and respect for my time. Let’s work together to make it happen!
How can I pay?: Paying for your session is a breeze! Here’s the scoop: There’s a $250 creative fee due upon booking that secures your spot on my calendar and covers all the behind-the-scenes magic that makes your session a success. This fee isn’t applied to collections.

About two weeks after your session, you’ll receive a slideshow packed with all the beautiful images we captured and edited. You’ll have 24 hours to choose and purchase one of the collections online. Once you’ve picked your collection, you’ll have a month to select your favorite photos and decide how to spend your print credit.

The creative fee is paid via an invoice I’ll send you, and collections are chosen through your online gallery store. Plus, you can even use Afterpay if you want to take advantage of payment options. Easy peasy!
What should I/we wear?: Here’s the lowdown on what to wear: Stick to a color palette of 3 or 4 complementary colors to keep things cohesive and stylish. Layers are your friend—they’re flattering and show off your personal style. Shoes? Totally optional! But keep the neon running shoes at home. Keep hair simple, clean, and usually down for that effortless look. If possible, avoid wearing non-glare glasses to dodge any unwanted reflections.

Neutrals are a win, and girls always look lovely in simple floral patterns. And please, avoid matching outfits at all costs! If you’re ever in doubt, just ask me about my styling services—I offer a wardrobe for the whole family! Let’s make sure you all look fabulous and feel comfortable.
When will I see the photos?: I’m stepping away from sneak peeks, so you’ll get to see the full magic within two to three weeks after your session. I’ll send you a password-protected link to view your photos online. Your slideshow will be available for 24 hours of pure viewing pleasure, and once you’ve chosen your collection, you’ll have a whole month to pick your favorite images and place your order. Just a heads up—make sure to place your order before the month is up, as your print credit will expire. Get ready to be wowed!
