The Studio Wardrobe

Welcome to the client closet. Wardrobe made easy. As a client, the closet is available as a complimentary experience. Utilizing the studio wardrobe ensures that you and your family will coordinate flawlessly and you'll love the finished images that much more. Plus it's one less thing on your plate that you need to worry about for your session. The wardrobe is available for all photos sessions whether we are meeting in the studio or on-location at your home or outside in the fields. It's amazing what a difference wardrobe plays in the outcome of your images.

Did you know that a typical family will spend $500 on wardrobe for their family's photo session? Just another reason to use the studio wardrobe. Michele is not only saving you time but money too!

Many of the dresses available fit most body types from pregnancy to post natal. All dresses that are chosen to be a part of the studio wardrobe are chosen because they will photograph beautifully. It is not mandatory to utilize the studio wardrobe, so here are a few tips in case you'd rather style yourself.

What to wear

Ideal:

Light colors/pastels

Mostly solid and coordinating but with one soft pattern in the mix.

Textures and floral patterns add to the beauty

What to not to wear

Avoid:

Dark Colors especially maroons or reds/magentas

Bold patterns like plaid

"dress shirts" on babies

With so many options available for children their wardrobe is not photographed. Below is just a sampling. If you are interested in borrowing for your child just send me a message with size/age/gender and we can discuss options. It is very important that if you have scheduled a session with Michele and want to use wardrobe pieces or even if you think you might want to use something Michele has on hand, you must fill out the questionnaire that is sent to you when you scheduled your session. Many new pieces are bought as needed and in order to accommodate your needs the questionnaire will need to be completed; otherwise there may not be pieces available for your use.

What should hubby wear?

There are men's pieces available in the studio as well. Staples such as grey/cream/blue henley's or button up linen type shirts. If your husband is interested in borrowing for the wardrobe please send me a message with his size and style preference and we will discuss options.

The studio wardrobe does not include pants. Jeans are fine if they are light in color. Any easy alternative (and my personal favorite) is grey or khaki pants from Gap or Old Navy.
