The Epic Proposal

To make things even better, Dad had something special planned for Mom—he had planned ahead to use this family session as an opportunity to propose!  It was funny because I kept trying to place them in epic locations around the nature center but I wasn’t actually sure when or how he wanted to propose.  Apparently he was hoping to have their son off to the side while he did it but baby did not want to be put down at all during the session.  

But when Adam Thielen arrived for his own family photos at Tamarack Nature Center a light bulb must of went off in dad’s head because from there on out he was set on introducing himself to Adam.  So towards the end of the session when I was myself running out of ideas for him to pop the question he ran over to Adam (who was just a few yards away) and told him his plan.  Mom was really confused and I was only a bit baffled.  But dad had handed their son off to Adam in front of us and then proceeded to propose right there on the trail.  I wasn’t quite where I would have liked to grab those special pictures but I still managed to capture the moment for them.  I’m so honored that I was able to document it all.
