This past summer, I had the pleasure of photographing a family session for my good friend Amy, her husband and their two boys. Amy and her family used to live here in North Oaks, but they recently moved to Lake Minnetonka. We decided to take their photos by the waterfront near their home and it turned out beautifully! Amy even wore a dress from my studio wardrobe – she looked gorgeous! I hadn’t photographed them since their boys were very little, so it was great to catch up and see how much they’ve grown. I’m so happy with how these photos turned out and I hope the family loves them too!

The Waterfront Location

We decided to do the photo shoot by the water because Amy’s family loves spending time boating on Lake Minnetonka.  It was so great to watch them interact and have fun! The waterfront location also made for some stunning photos. The sunlight was glistening off the water and created a beautiful backdrop for the photos. I’m so glad we chose this spot!

Amy’s Dress from My Studio Wardrobe

Amy looked amazing in the dress she wore from my studio wardrobe! The blue color complimented her perfectly and the flowy fabric looked great in the photos. I think she felt confident and beautiful in the dress, which is exactly what I want my clients to feel like! I had such a great time taking these photos and catching up with Amy and her family.
