Today I'm sharing one of my favorite spots to shop at for my studio wardrobe.  I love offering a studio wardrobe to my clients because many times the outfits that photograph best don't always translate well for walking around on a daily basis.  I'm including some of those options here. 

Lace photographs so beautifully especially with newborn and motherhood photo sessions.  

I just adore white in my studio.  This color really puts the focus on you and your baby.  It's one of the reasons I feel so strongly about neutral colors.  I've been photography families for over 10 years now and my favorite sessions (and clients who love their session even more) is when clients wear muted neutrals.  The focus is then on you and your family and your children and not on what you're wearing.  Trust me in 30-40 years if you're wearing something that is fashion forward now your kids will make fun of that picture with their own kids.  Case in point my husband's family has this portrait up from the 70's (I don't think I need to say more about that) and while the portrait is quite lovely really all I see is some funky outfits when I look at it.  So when choosing your outfit for a photo session really think about the neutrality of it.  Lace and solid colors really do hold their value.
