Ok so I want to add . . . did you see the image above where the toddler is running and mom is trying to catch him?  All you see is mom’s boots trying to catch up.  This image SPEAKS to me.  It’s my FAVORITE.  Why?  Because he has this little determined look on his face while running away and even though my kids are older now, I vividly remember trying to catch them while I was also trying to look cute in boots.  I think it’s interesting that if I asked everyone what their favorite image is from the session everyone would have a different one and we’d all have different reasons and most families would choose the image of everyone smiling at the camera with their perfect cheese face, but mine?  My favorites are always the one off images that just make me feel something.  Thank you to this wonderful family for keeping me in their life while their littles grow.  I’ve been photographing them since their biggest was in the NICU and it’s always a pleasure.
