I had a great backyard photo session with this North Oaks family.  I live in North Oaks too so my commute wasn’t very long but I have to confess; I drove when I could have walked. That’s how close they live to me.  But the deer flies were out and I thought I might get eaten up even before the session started.  The good thing is even though the bugs were out in full force the family sprayed their backyard so I didn’t get eaten up by any mosquitoes or anything.  Unfortunately bug spray doesn’t affect those darn deer flies.  This family was swatting them away like crazy but you can’t tell in the images we captured.  It was such a hot evening too.  Summer sessions are fun because you have long warm days but here in Minnesota that means you can also end up with humidity that’s going to destroy your hair and take all the fun out of getting your picture taken.  But be sure to look how we ended the session.  Always a good time!
