I photographed this high school senior at the beginning of the school year.  We headed over to Como Park where we explored.  Como park is great for variety in your photo sessions.  You get both a beautiful outdoor nature feel but also a little bit of a great urban backdrop too with it’s lovely buildings and bridges.  

The best time to take your senior pictures is the summer after your junior year.  But if you don’t get your senior photos done during the summer then scheduling them right at the beginning of fall will work as well.  Each high school has different requirements and deadlines so be sure to find out from your school what they require and when.  The main problem with waiting until fall is many photographers start getting busy with family portrait sessions so you don’t want to end up not being able to get on the calendar.  So schedule those high school senior photo sessions sooner rather than later.
