As a mom of a teen daughter, I’m always looking for ways to capture special memories. What better way to make lasting memories than by taking photos? That’s why last spring I took my daughter to Como Park in St. Paul for some photos. The weather was perfect, the scenery was stunning and we had an amazing time capturing the beauty of this special place.  I’m not going to lie I wish I had someone like me documenting us together.

Taking Photos of My Daughter at Como Park

When I found out that Como Park had some beautiful pink and white trees in bloom, I knew it would be the perfect place for a photo shoot with my daughter. We spent the day exploring the park and finding interesting places to take pictures. With every new spot we found, my daughter got more excited about the project. It was so fun seeing her enthusiasm for something that I love doing!

We took mostly posed shots, but what really made this photo session special were all of the candid photos I captured throughout our adventure. Seeing my daughter explore her surroundings made me feel so proud – she’s growing up so fast! It truly was one of those perfect days that I didn’t want to forget!

In addition to taking photos of my daughter, I also followed her lead during our session and took some shots of just nature – flowers, trees, wildlife – which turned out really well too! Each photo captured something unique about the park and its natural beauty – they were like little glimpses into another world.

It is such a beautiful place that will provide you with a setting for lasting memories between you and your loved ones!
