Meet another new family for a fall session in North Oaks, Minnesota. It’s always so fun meeting new families and I hope they become a yearly addition to all the wonderful families who have stuck with me for all the years. It’s so crazy to think I’ve been photographing families for almost 10 years now here in Minnesota alone! That’s not to mention the years photographing families in Indiana and Massachusetts when we lived there (and where it all started).

This family chose a location near my home in North Oaks. I like to call this place The Secret Garden. It’s a great small park location where it has a lovely gate for visual interest and a nice little trail walk to a bridge adding to the variety in your portraits.

Fall was different this year. Not a lot of vibrant colors during the usual peak season. I feel like we went from green to gone really fast. But we still managed to get some lovely color for this family’s fall photo session.

I’m excited to deliver this family’s product from their session. They received some beautiful prints and the linen keepsake case with proof prints and a USB with all their images uploaded to it. They are absolutely going to love the quality of the prints. The keepsake case looks great on display making it super easy to look through your images at any time. Leaving your images on a hard drive is not the way to go. But I do agree having digital files is important, especially for backup purposes. But I first and foremost believe that your photos should be on display in your home. Don’t let your photos sit and collect digital dust. Frame & display them for all to see.
