I cannot believe I have not yet done a holiday wrap up of the holiday mini sessions from last Christmas. This annual tradition will probably return the first weekend in November as always. So stay tuned for more information.

I only do 2-3 mini sessions a year. Besides the holiday mini sessions, I'm holding the most recent heirloom portrait mini sessions which is sold out and occurring in just a week and the upcoming Motherhood Event is happening on April 3rd, 2022. But let's get to the point of this blog post. Holiday Mini sessions in the Northeast Minneapolis studio. So much fun was had. I met many new clients and photographed many returning clients. It's always fun watching the kiddos growing from year to year. Every year the backdrop is a subtle holiday décor. One wall usually changes while the other wall contains the large holiday wreath which has become a client favorites. I cannot tell you how often I get messages asking how big the wreath is from other photographers near and far! (It's about 4 feet). Where did I get it? Hobby Lobby. I also have many clients who seek me out for this particular prop as well. I'm glad I can offer something that so many love and want to include on their holiday cards.

Let me share with you a few of my favorite images from last year's holiday mini sessions. I'm already starting to think about this year's décor. You wouldn't think it would be so hard to think of something simple in design but it always seems to take so much of my brain power and I always change it up multiple times before the actual day of the sessions. Make sure you are on the newsletter list if you want to get first dibs on scheduling this highly sought after mini session.
