I’m not much of a prop photographer as many of my clients know.  So I was a little hesitant for this theme for fear I wouldn’t make my client happy.  But she brought all the props and we picked and chose the ones that would work and it turned out so stinking cute!  I’ve been photographing this family since big brother was in the NICU.  And now little brother just turned one!  How did that happen?  These kiddos grow up so fast.  Cake smash sessions aren’t just about eating cake they are also about capturing portraits before the mess begins.  Once the portraits are done both individual and family we eat cake!  Well I don’t eat cake baby does!  Or doesn’t as the case may be.  This little guy wasn’t that keen on cake but we got him into it and before we knew it the mess had been created.  I remember back to brother’s cake smash and he LOVED it!  I’ll post some from his session at the end of this post.  It’s always fun to compare.
