I met Mr. Superhero Jackson at the University of Minnesota Masonic Hospital NICU ward prior to his surgery. I photograph in the NICU often and many times I get to see these NICU babies a year later for another photo session but I rarely get to come back while they are still in the NICU. I was so honored when Jackson's mom asked me to come back after his surgery. It was also nice because dad was able to come to this session so we were able to get a little family picture. Though I hear Jackson has quite a few siblings at home. I would say they are anxiously awaiting him but with this blog post I am happy to report that Jackson is now home and doing ok. They still have their set of challenges but I'm sure it feels good to be home. You can read his story here: Jack Attack
I'm posting some of my favorites here and look for his before and after image. He's come a long way and we continue to send positive loving vibes his way.
