A cake smash session is the perfect way to commemorate your baby’s first year. We captured some beautiful moments of this baby girl who loves dancing and baby shark.  She has grown so much just since our session, mom says she talking and walking a lot more now!  

Outfit Selection

For her session, mom had brought an outfit with her for baby but decided to use one of our studio outfits instead. Both mom and baby are wearing outfits from the studio wardrobe.  My studio offers a variety of outfits for babies and toddlers (and moms and dads) that are perfect for any occasion. Mom loved the simplicity and light in the images we captured. Though she does wish she would have chosen more than one outfit for the session.

 

The Cake Smash Session

Baby girl had so much fun smashing her cake. It was amazing to see her personality shine through in the images. Mom purchased this Raspberry champagne cake at Kowalski’s.  She said it was the best cake she’s had!  And I have to say it did look and smell delicious.  I almost ran off to Kowalski’s to buy one myself!

I always like to ask parents for advice that they would like give other parents for their session. And this beautiful mama said “Enjoy it, baby sometimes doesn’t cooperate how we want but it’s moments to embrace.”  I could not agree more!
