When your baby learns to sit for the first time you’ll want to grab your camera! Or bring them into a professional photographer (Minneapolis baby milestone photographer) so you don’t miss a thing. Sitter sessions are one of my favorite milestones to photograph in my Northeast Minneapolis studio. These adorable milestone sessions are also part of the baby plan because they are so important to capture and did I mention cute!! Each milestone session has its own pros and cons. Tummy time milestone sessions, babies can be fussy on their tummy and they aren’t yet sitting so there isn’t a lot of other poses you can do with baby besides being on their back. Standing milestone sessions usually mean your baby is probably crawling away but sitter milestone sessions are always a favorite because this is the one time when your baby is easy to photograph. What I mean by easy is your baby is just sitting there happily and not yet moving. There will never be a time like that again! In fact babies get progressively harder to photograph over the next few years. Once they start moving they don’t stop until the teen years! So trust me, you’ll want to photograph that sweet sitting time and enjoy it because it doesn’t last long before they start crawling from you and the camera.

This adorable sitter milestone session was held in the Northeast Minneapolis studio. The natural light in my studio leads to beautiful heirloom photos like these. Like with many of the sessions in the studio I took some film images as well. So be sure to scroll to the end where I’ll post some of those as well.
