Milestone sessions in the studio are a great way to celebrate that 6 month birthday.  That’s exactly what we did with one of my favorite baby planners in my studio in Northeast Minneapolis.  We also made sure to snap some pictures of big sister too who turned 3!!!  It’s hard to believe I met this family three years ago in the NICU when sister was born.  This little guy just had a short stay in the special care nursery before he came home.  Lucky!

Many milestone sessions are held once baby is sitting unassisted but as you can see here that’s not required.  It’s completely personal preference on whether you want to mark that 6 month number or photograph the milestone that usually comes right around that number marker which is sitting.  This happens between the 4-9 month window.  Usually shortly after turning 6-7 months.

 While petite milestone sessions focus just on baby bigger/longer sessions can include the whole family.  In the following images you’ll see that the au pair was included too.
