Spring 2025 Brand Shoot for Sweetpea & Co.

This spring, I had the chance to photograph Sweetpea & Co.’s 2025 launch, and honestly—what a fun change of pace. Their line is bright, playful, and proudly Minnesota-rooted, and bringing their designs to life behind the camera is one of my favorite parts of commercial work.

For this shoot, we focused on clean, simple product images and a few lifestyle moments with the sweetest trio of little models. The goal was to keep everything light, modern, and true to the brand’s personality. Their graphics always steal the show—think loons, happy little suns, dalahäst horses, and those cheeky Minnesota classics like “Tater Tot” and “Oh Fer Cute.” If you’re from here, you get it. We mixed studio-bright product shots with a few textured, natural-light setups to give their shop plenty of variety for the spring launch. Whether it was the sunshine onesie paired with mini sunglasses or the woodland ringer tees, their designs really did all the heavy lifting—it was my job to make sure the photos felt just as joyful.

On a personal note, I love photographing brands that are woman-owned and local. It’s meaningful work. These small businesses pour so much heart into their products, and being the one trusted to showcase that is something I don’t take lightly.
