With our snowy wet weather today I thought it a good time to post this session from last winter.  Sometimes snowy weather can make great photos especially for the holiday cards!  So even photographers have to have their photos taken!  We sometimes wait until the last minute when everyone else has already had their beautiful fall foliage images taken and we’re left with barren trees and not much to look at.  And let’s not forget the warm Indian summer days of fall are long gone and the temps steadily decline to the teens.  Yes that’s what was happening on this day last winter.  My very own family photos.  The good thing was we had snow and snow makes for some beautiful pictures.  When I do snow sessions with clients I approach it the same way as I do with my own family.  We do it quick!  Snow sessions are approximately 30 minute sessions.  What I call Petite sessions.  This gives us just enough time to have fun grab some pictures before everyone is too cold to participate (not to mention rosy cheeks and runny noses have yet to set in).  Take a peek of my fun session.  We might have been cold but we sure had fun and still managed to make some memories in a short amount of time.  I’ll even attach our Christmas card so you can see how awesome it is to have snow pictures go out on your holiday cards!
