Right about after the holidays, I had this fabulous snow photo session.  I love snow sessions!  The only issue with them is you can never quite plan for them.  I usually have a waitlist for anyone interested and when it snows you have decide within a day or two whether or not you want to go for it.  In Minnesota it can be hard to decide because even if it snows it might be well below freezing and that’s never fun.  But this day it had snowed a fews days earlier and the temps were in the 30’s.  Perfect for a 30 minute snow session.  Living in North Oaks, we have many trails that we can access from our backyards which is perfect again for photos in the snow.  And this family’s home was no exception.  We just walked a little ways photographing along the way probably walked 15 minutes out and 15 minutes back.  30 minutes and done.  Snow sessions are one of the few times that I actually do petite sessions for families.    

This North Oak family didn’t have any little kids so sometimes that easier but little kids enjoy being the snow.  Sometimes it’s the big kids that just aren’t into a photo session but this teen was a trooper just look at how much fun he had.
