As a Minneapolis Studio photographer, January and February are the two months I try and offer some additional mini sessions to start the year off in my Northeast Minneapolis studio. I only offer 2-3 mini sessions a year. Holiday, Motherhood and Valentines. These sessions are always fun because the sets are pretty basic. I’m not throwing a bunch of hearts and props in your face. I’m a pretty simple photographer anyway and I want your child to be the focus of your photographs never the props. No matter what type of session we are having, you’ll receive beautiful images that are timeless.

While I only hold 2-3 mini sessions a year, I always schedule petite sessions. The difference in a petite session and a mini session is the petite session is going to cater to the date and time that is convenient for you. They are just 30 minutes in length so they are a tad bit longer than a mini session. Sometimes a 15 minute session isn’t long enough but 30 minutes can be perfect! Petite sessions are held in the studio but can also be scheduled for a session with just the children on location. All family sessions held on location are full signature sessions.

This session was a quick valentine session for a new family who is now part of my family membership program so I’m super excited to be able to photograph these cuties for the next year. Mom is a blessing and probably one of the nicest human’s I’ve ever met. I really feel lucky and privileged to have them be a part of the mQn family. I mean I just get the greatest clients. I LOVE my job! And of course all the cute babies I get to see all the time. Ok let me share with you some of my favorites from this quick Valentine session.
